Ka’imi Pono

Custom Made Limited Edition makau by Po'okelaCustom Made Limited Edition

Ka’imi Pono is a unique piece of Hawaiian jewelry, crafted from a rare two-tone mammoth tusk with mineral deposits. The Hawaiian phrase Ka’imi Pono, translated as “The Search for Righteousness”, is embodied in this piece. The accompanying Makau (fish hook) pictured is an example of the one you will receive. The mammoth tusk has a mocha brown hue, which is the result of minerals absorbed through its beach-washed surface. The distressed look of the tusk was revealed after the carving process. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.

Limited Edition: 2/10

*Cord is adjustable to fit over all head shapes and sizes.
